As the region’s first and longest running wine tour company, with more than 33 years of experience, they offer a well paced wine experience led by WSET qualified Wine Guides who share practical tasting tips, vineyard stories, and local knowledge throughout the day.

Travel is in a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle with a maximum of 8 guests, which keeps the day relaxed and allows for more personal attention. The tour includes hosted tastings at four hand picked wineries, with a scenic journey through multiple Central Otago sub regions and visits to places that sit away from the main tourist trail.

Carrick Winery is one of the named stops, where you visit for wine tasting and lunch, at your own cost. Other stops include fully hosted wine tasting and hosted wine tasting experiences, with the final winery depending on availability and, if time permits, the day’s schedule.

This tour is suited to both dedicated wine drinkers and travellers who want a guided introduction to Central Otago wine. You can expect a relaxed atmosphere, knowledgeable guiding, and a day built around boutique cellar door visits rather than large group touring.
