Guided eBike Wine Tour Ride to the Vines

This small group tour starts with pickup and travel to Arrowtown through the eBike base in CountryLane Retail village, where you get ready for the ride. The day begins on two wheels, with a 3 hour eBike journey through Central Otago countryside, including historic suspension bridges, varied terrain, and a visit to the world’s first permanent Bungy jumping site.

Along the way, there is time to feed local alpacas and goats and hear historic information about the Central Otago area. The route also passes through vineyards, with insight into vine growing and the landscape that shapes Otago wine.

After the ride, the pace shifts to 2 hours of wine tasting at 2 family owned boutique wineries. Here, you will explore the vineyards further and taste Otago wines in a more personal setting, with comments and tips from a knowledgeable guide. An artisan local platter is served during the tasting.

The tour is designed for small groups, which keeps the experience relaxed and gives families space to enjoy the day together. It is suitable for children, with non-alcoholic soft drinks and snacks provided for minors instead of alcohol. After the final winery, transport is provided to the drop off point.
