Tour Overview

See Milford Sound from two very different perspectives, in the air and on the water. This tour combines flying over the Fiordland national park with time on the fiord itself, giving you a broad view of the landscape before you experience Milford Sound up close.

From the aircraft, look out over rivers, valleys and mountains, along with blue-green ice falls, before a glacier or alpine landing in the heart of Fiordland National Park, weather permitting. The flight adds a real sense of scale to the terrain and leads into aerial views of the stunning sound.

Once on the water, enjoy a scenic boat cruise whilst in the sound. The cruise passes sheer cliffs and gushing waterfalls, with the chance to spot dolphins, seals and penguins along the way. This part of the trip lets you slow down and take in the details of the fiord after seeing its wider setting from above.

Lunch is available onboard as an optional extra. If you would like to add a picnic lunch to your booking, let a member of staff know. Glacier landing is subject to weather conditions.
