From base, the helicopter lifts into the alpine scenery of the southern lakes region and flies to your pilot’s chosen mountain for a snow landing. Touching down among the snow, you have time to take in the surroundings and enjoy the winter setting in your own way. You might build a snow man, sledge down the mountain, have a snowball fight, or simply stand in the snow and take your picture on top of the world.
After time on the mountain, re-board the helicopter and continue over alpine scenery on the return flight to base. The experience combines a scenic helicopter journey with time on the snow, giving you a clear sense of the high country landscape around Queenstown.
