Ride the 42km Lake Dunstan Trail by Sinch e-bike from Clyde, with a morning transfer to Cromwell Heritage Precinct and time to stop at Carrick Winery.

Tour Overview

Start the day at the Clyde depot, set in an Historic New Zealand Railway Station, where you’ll be fitted to a super comfortable Sinch E-Bike. From there, travel by deluxe airconditioned van to the Cromwell Heritage Precinct, with time for a quick photo and any last-minute questions before you begin riding.

The 42km Lake Dunstan Trail is a grade 1 to 3 ride, best suited to confident cyclists who can brake and change gears easily. Once on the trail, you’ll ride a Sinch E-Bike with a powerful Shimano motor and a 630 watt hour battery, giving you the support to focus on the route rather than the effort. The trail is known for its engineered clip on paths, turquoise waters, sparse Central Otago landscape, and wide open sky.

Because you ride back to Clyde, there’s no need to rush or work around a tight return transfer. You can stop at Carrick Winery and its food caravan, or continue a little further to the Coffee and Burger Afloat refreshment boats. With transport handled in the morning, the rest of the day is yours to settle into the rhythm of the trail and take in what Lake Dunstan has to offer.
