Tour Overview

This 2 to 2.5 hour helicopter tour from Queenstown brings together Milford Sound, the West Coast and the Southern Alps glacier area in one flight. After lift off, you fly high over snow capped mountains, with views of alpine lakes, rivers, forests, glacial valleys and ice covered peaks spread out below.

The route heads to Milford Sound, where the helicopter follows the fiord from above, giving you a clear view of the waterfalls and rainforest lining the waterway. The flight continues to the mouth of Milford Sound and out to the Tasman Sea, before turning north to a remote West Coast beach.

You land on this uninhabited beach and have time to step out and take a short stroll before lifting off again for a second landing in an alpine glacier environment.
