Step aboard the Fiordland Jewel for a small group cruise through Milford Sound, a fiord on the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island known for steep sides, rainforest, and waterfalls. Check in at the Fiordland Discovery desk inside the Milford Sound main visitor terminal building at 12:00pm, board at 12:15pm, and depart the wharf at 12:30pm, returning at 2:30pm.

Purpose-built for cruising Milford Sound, the boutique catamaran offers comfortable lounges, seated dining, and full sea views from the main saloon and outdoor areas, so you can stay sheltered or step outside as conditions change. As you travel the length of the fiord, look out for Mitre Peak rising from the shore and Lady Bowen Falls, Milford’s highest waterfall at 162 metres.

Lunch is chef-prepared and served on board, with dietary requirements catered for when advised in advance. Complimentary tea and coffee are also available.
