Premium Milford Sound cruise on the MV Sinbad from the RealNZ Milford Sound Visitor Terminal, with limited capacity, canapes, and close-up fiord views.

Tour Overview

Step aboard the MV Sinbad for a premium Milford Sound cruise designed around comfort, space, and close-up access to the fiord. Departing from and returning to the RealNZ Milford Sound Visitor Terminal, Milford Sound 9679, this smaller vessel operates with limited capacity, creating a more intimate atmosphere from the moment you arrive and are welcomed with a drink.

As the MV Sinbad cruises the length of Milford Sound, you can settle into allocated seating with uninterrupted views or head outside to take in the scale of the fiord from the open deck. Freshly prepared canapes and bubbles made from local produce are served on board, adding to the experience without distracting from the landscape around you.

The route on the day is shaped by experienced skippers, who adjust the cruise to suit the weather and recent wildlife sightings. That means the focus stays on the best conditions available in Milford Sound at the time of travel. Depending on the day, you may move in close to sheer rock faces, feel the cool spray from a waterfall, or spot dolphins, seals, and, in season, Fiordland crested penguins.

The overall feel is relaxed, informative, and participative, offering a well-paced way to experience Milford Sound from the water.

What's Included
