Led by a local female photographer, the tour combines sightseeing with practical guidance while you travel and shoot, with tuition tailored to absolute beginners through to advanced photographers.

The itinerary is flexible, making it a relaxed way to explore the mountain scenery around Queenstown and focus on the kinds of images you want to create. If you choose a longer distance option, you can visit Glenorchy or Skippers Canyon, each about an hour’s drive from Queenstown. Only one of these longer distance locations can be selected on the half day tour. If you want to cover a wider range of places, the full day photo tour is the better fit.

Along the way, your guide provides photographic advice between stops and while you are taking photos, helping you get more from each location. This is a private experience, so the pace and focus can be shaped around your needs.

For added peace of mind, your guide holds public liability insurance, first aid certification, and a Passenger Service licence, the legal requirements for carrying and transporting clients safely.

Locations such as Glenorchy or Skippers Canyon take an hour's drive from Queenstown. Please note that you are able to select only one longer distance location.
