Small-group Central Otago wine tour through Gibbston Valley with tastings at Peregrine, Kinross and Amisfield, travelling by Mercedes Sprinter.

Tour Overview

Spend an afternoon tasting through Gibbston Valley, the “Valley of the Vines,” on a small-group wine tour designed for adults who want a focused Central Otago experience in just a few hours.

Your first tasting is at Peregrine Wines, one of the region’s most recognised wineries. Known for its award-winning design and dramatic wing-shaped roof, Peregrine pairs distinctive architecture with elegant Pinot Noir and vibrant aromatics. Inside, the barrel hall adds another layer to the visit, highlighting the winery’s attention to detail.

From there, continue to Kinross for a hosted tasting that brings together five boutique producers in one place, Kinross, Valli, Wild Irishman, High Garden, and Hawkshead. This stop offers a broader look at Central Otago wine styles, alongside insight into the character of this hard-working wine region. Kinross was also named winner of the Qualmark New Zealand Wine Tourism Award 2024.

The final stop is Amisfield, where a curated tasting is matched by the strong sense of place. The dramatic stone building, acclaimed cellar door, and views across the surrounding landscape reflect the essence of Central Otago. Amisfield’s wines come from its single-estate organic vineyard, and the property was named RIEDEL Vineyard of the Year 2024.

Travel is by luxury Mercedes Sprinter with a local wine guide, with a maximum of 10 guests.
