Guided self-drive off-road buggy tour from 61A Shotover Street, Queenstown, with training, transfers, creek crossings, and views of Lake Wakatipu.

Tour Overview

Check in at 61A Shotover Street, Queenstown, then take a short transfer to the private adventure park, just 5 minutes away. After a brief training session in the training area, you follow your guide into real off road terrain and take the wheel yourself.

The route is built around steep climbs, creek crossings and forest tracks, giving you a hands on introduction to what these buggies can handle. Even first time off road drivers can get a feel for the vehicle’s capability, with your guide leading the way throughout. Each buggy seats up to four guests, and up to two drivers can swap during the tour.

There are short lookout stops along the way, with wide views over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and Coronet Peak before you head back onto the track. The experience combines guided support with self drive action, so you can focus on the terrain while still having clear direction from your guide.

Return transfers back to central Queenstown are included at the end of the tour. Helmets and eye protection are provided, so there is no need to bring specialist gear. From the first training laps to the final transfer back to 61A Shotover Street, this is a practical, guided off road drive close to town.
