Queenstown Hydro Attack Shark Ride Adventure

Climb aboard the Seabreacher X from its berth in central Queenstown and head out onto Lake Wakatipu for a fast, semi submersible ride unlike anything else on the lake. This is the world’s first commercial Seabreacher X tour, operated with an experienced pilot at the controls and the ride tailored to how mild or wild you want it.

Inside the enclosed cockpit, you look out through F 16 fighter grade glass as the craft accelerates to speeds of up to 80 kph on the surface and 40 kph underwater. The low centre of gravity adds to the feeling of control as your pilot carves tight doughnuts, rolls to a 90 degree angle, and drops into a dive before breaching the surface again.

One of the most distinctive moments comes when the full 18 foot vessel launches into the air, then lands back on Lake Wakatipu in a burst of spray. It is a short, intense Queenstown water adventure built around speed, sharp turns, underwater dives, and repeated jumps, with the freedom to choose whether you want a gentler introduction or a full adrenaline hit.
