Queenstown Wine Tour

Travel through Gibbston Valley and Arrowtown on a small group wine tour focused on premium cellar doors and unhurried tastings. After pickup from accommodation in and around Frankton or the central Queenstown meeting point, the day begins with your first hosted tasting at a vineyard, where you can settle into the surroundings before your introduction to Central Otago wine.

Across the tour, you will visit four cellar doors, with wine tastings at each stop and a light platter included at the second winery. Featured boutique wineries include Brennan Wines, Waitiri Creek, and Chard Farm in Gibbston Valley, all recognised for Pinot Noir and other Central Otago wines. At each estate, knowledgeable cellar door hosts guide the tasting and explain how the local environment shapes the region’s wine style.

This tour is designed for travellers who want a more considered pace than a large group wine trip. Time at each winery is private and relaxed, giving you space to taste, ask questions, and compare the character of different wines across Gibbston Valley and Arrowtown. On some occasions, the listed wineries may not be available, and an alternative cellar door will be included.
