The Original Queenstown Wine Trail Tour – Celebrating 33+ Years!

Spend an afternoon tasting local pinot noir and other varietals on a relaxed wine tour a short distance from Queenstown. This small-group experience focuses on top service and flexibility, with in-depth tastings and presentations at three premium vineyards.

A highlight of the tour is the Tour of NZ's largest underground Wine Cave & Wine tasting, where you’ll go beyond the cellar door with a guided walk through the vines and into the underground cave. Along the way, you’ll learn more about the wines being poured, with each vineyard visit offering a hosted tasting rather than just a quick sample.

The tour also includes time to pause for lunch at a vineyard. At the stop listed as Enjoy a fully hosted wine tasting. We stop here for lunch too (at own cost), you can order a winery lunch or choose from local cheeses, craft beer, or coffee, all available to purchase. Another stop, Enjoy a hosted wine tasting experience, adds a further chance to compare styles and varietals across the region.

Winery visits can occasionally change on the day if a listed venue is unavailable. If that happens, the tour visits another boutique winery, keeping the afternoon focused on quality tastings and a smooth, easy pace.
